Human beings are innately musical and everyone can respond and relate to music. If you would like to experience the exhilaration of singing in a group, contact Eddie Binnie (above) or come along to the hall on rehearsal night. A warm welcome is guaranteed.
There is no formal interview or singing test, nor do you have to be able to read music; all that’s required is to sing a few scales at the piano to ascertain which section is best suited to your vocal range eg. alto, soprano, tenor or bass.
Members pay an annual fee of £50 in April to cover the cost of music, which is supplied. The choir also holds two social events prior to the summer and Christmas holidays, with all the entertainment voluntarily provided by members. Eat your heart out Britain’s Got Talent!
